Lake View City Council authorizes a wage freeze for Lake View summer help

…suggest that maybe high school students off the street can do the summer mowing.

LAKE VIEW, IOWA – JANUARY 17, 2011

(city administrator’s instructions to the council)

1. Laney suggests that they not be given a raise this year.
2. Laney makes a motion to advertise for the summer positions with pay at the same rate as last summer.
- Motion passes.
3. City administrator directed to produce a list of projects the “Projects Person” will be expected to complete. Based on that they may drop the project position out and deal with their pay separately.
(Possibly paying less for lawn mowing as opposed to concrete work, etc.)
