On the evening of November 14, 2010 TSN reported...

...that the Sac City Police Department was involved in a chase north of town. An eye witness wrote in with an account of the event, the details of which have been partially confirmed by Sac City, Iowa Chief of Police John Thomsen.

At one point, driver stopped his vehicle and rammed the front of the police vehicle, rendering it non-functional. Shortly thereafter the man was taken into custody.

According to Thomsen, the man is not a resident of Sac City, Iowa.
