Sac County Sheriff's Department arrests Denison man on drug related charges

Jose Antonio Ulloa age 20 from Denison, Iowa was arrested by the Sac County
Sheriff's Office following a traffic stop during the early morning hours of
Sunday October 9, 2011.

Ulloa was stopped by sheriff's deputies at just before 2:00AM for an alleged
speed violation. Deputies say they could smell and odor of marijuana coming from
within the car. A substance believed to be marijuana and a marijuana pipe
were seized.

Ulloa was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated (drugs),
possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ulloa was
booked in to the Sac County Jail and was released the following day own
promise to appear.

Sac County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

We traveled to Ida Grove on October 10, 2011 for a meet.

This was our 3rd meet in 7 days and I think our legs were tired today. We ran hard but didnt have

the speed to finish were we wanted to. Everyone is working hard and with 4 days off before

conference I think we will run much better there.
