The Sac Community (Rec) Center requests funding in the amount of $30,000 from Sac City, Iowa
Every year the Sac City Council entertains requests for funding from the private organizations that are often not obligated to report their finances publically.

Minutes of the December 29, 2009 Sac County Supervisors Meeting

The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
Julie Hudson from the Office of Energy Independence explained several options to improve the energy efficiency the courthouse and annexes through upgrades in the heating, cooling and lighting. Several of these projects have already been started. No action was taken.
The County Engineer updated the Board on the activities of the county road crews and discussed an option for trading a 1999 Cat motorgrader before the January 1st price increase. More options will be investigated.
There was some discussion on the Governor’s proposal to shift funds from Road Use Tax fund and Farm to Market funds to the State’s General Fund to support the Iowa State Patrol. This transfer would reduce Sac County’s funding by approximately $157,000 in the next fiscal year.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
