Bensley to lose Clinton Township under proposed redistricting plan

At the June 21, 201 Sac County Supervisors meeting, Sac County Auditor Jim Dowling presented to the supervisors a set of before and after maps proposing a possible change in the Sac County Supervisor Districts. This redistricting is a response to the recent census findings that indicate a shift in the distribution of population within the county.

The proposed redistricting plan depicted in the following document was not approved by the Sac County Supervisors at the June 21 meeting and the auditor was directed to submit another proposal so that the supervisors would have more than one option to consider.

This is the first time any of the sitting Sac County Supervisors have been in office during redistricting.
