Wall Lake City Council may consider hooking into rural water

New well project update.

WALL LAKE, IOWA – OCTOBER 25, 2010

1. Project update.

2. Morrow reveals that data already exists from 30ish years ago for wells.

3. How old is that well?

4. What is the rush?
- MSA planner is not an engineer and can’t answer specific questions, but takes a pretty decent shot at it.

5. Do we want to look into hooking up to rural water as a backup?
- It doesn’t hurt to have a conversation.
- City would have to put in a different style of water plant.
- Some specifics about how it might work discussed.

6. Is the city restricted regarding where a well can go due to not owning property?
