Wall Lake City Council approves $5,500 for shelter park renovation

WALL LAKE, IOWA – OCTOBER 25, 2010

1. The committee is short for lighting.
- They think $11K will cover it all.
2. Shelter is mostly fixed.
3. Council asked for $5,500 to help get a matching grant.
4. Proposed start date would be next June or March.
- Project completion is estimated to be 6 weeks from commencement.
5. They would like to move the stools to make them more accessible for handicapped people.
6. Vandal resistant lighting discussed.
- One set of lighting includes motion center lights.
7. Motion to match 50% of project cost capped at $5,500 approved.
