Angeline T. Puetz, age 96, of Early, Iowa, died on Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Twilight Acres in Wall Lake, IA.
Angeline Puetz, daughter of Theodore and Anna (Boeckman) Schulte, was born in Breda, Iowa on July 24, 1914. Growing up she was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. Angeline began her education and graduated high school in 1933 from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Early, Iowa.

On April 27, 1941 Ange was united in marriage to Ralph Puetz at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Early. Together they were blessed with four children: Joe, Jim, Don, and Ann.

Ange and Ralph enjoyed all the time they had together, especially when they were able to go dancing. She valued taking part in the guild at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Ange also loved to travel on bus tours and spend time in her garden. In her spare time, Ange worked outside of the home at Ireland Drug and Payless Cashways. She was extremely proud to be able to raise her family. She treasured being able to spend time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Angeline’s memory will always be lovingly remembered and honored by her children: Joe (Karla) Puetz of Early, IA; and Don Puetz of Des Moines, IA; sister, Lola Huelman of Schaller, IA; sister-in-law, Esther Schulte of Storm Lake, IA; grandchildren: Kimberly Puetz of Ankeny, IA; Marc (Boni) Puetz of Gilbertville, IA; Neil (Kari) Puetz of Plattsburg, MO; Amy (Joe) Firman of Flandreau, SD; Laura Puetz of St. Joseph, MO; and Corrie Rittenhouse of Lakewood, OH; son-in-law, Drake Rittenhouse of Lakewood, OH; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; son, Jim; Daughter, Ann; brothers: Paul, Joe, Bill, and Don; and Sister Ann Therese Schulte, RSM.
