The Snowy Owls of the arctic tundra (pictured) have begun making their way into North America and the Sac County Conservation Board is asking the public for help in tracking them.
According to Sac County Naturalist Rene Stroud, the Iowa Ornithological Union has recorded over 20 sightings of Snowy Owls in Iowa just in 2011 alone.
