Patricia Ellen Pedersen, age 62, of Storm Lake, Iowa died July 13, 2011 at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
Patricia Ellen Pedersen was born June 28, 1949 in Carroll, Iowa the daughter of Elmer Charles and Mildred Iona (Scott) Pedersen. Growing up, she was raised as Methodist. Patricia attended school in Wall Lake where she graduated from Wall Lake High School in 1967.
Following high school graduation, Patricia worked in Sac City, Wall Lake and later in Harlan at the Baptist Memorial Home. After moving to Storm Lake in 1986, Patricia worked at Bil-mar for 20 years.
Patricia was an avid readers and also loved plants and flowers and enjoyed watching them grow. She treasured animals, especially feeding the birds and squirrels in her backyard.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, John Pedersen of California; sister-in-law, Glenda Begnoche of Sioux City, Iowa; her aunts: Roberta Bradley of Oceanside, California; and Frances (Clifford) Justice of Harlan, Iowa; niece, Ellyn Manzo of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; nephew, Robert Charles Pedersen Jr. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; cousins: Darrell Bradley; Deborah Bradley Birdsell; John Justice; extended family and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mildred Pedersen; and two brothers: Robert and Thomas Pedersen.
