Wall Lake City Council approves pool wages, updated on changes to pool board policy
WALL LAKE, IOWA – MARCH 28, 2011
There will be some changes to the Wall Lake, Iowa pool board policies this year.
- No one will be allowed in the deep end of the pool without a test. Previously you were automatically granted access at age fourteen.
- Lifeguard wages were left the same as they were last year. Starting wage is $7.50 per hour, second year guards will get $8.00 per hour.
- Guards who need to check their cell phone will now be required to go out in front away from the pool and concession area and to be clearly off duty so that there is no confusion generated.
