TSN fan demonstrates brain-melting lack of understanding of Iowa wire, photography, open meeting, and privacy law

This fan is upset that I had a camera running in the Sac City city council chamber while elected officials were present.


WOW you are stooping or should I say snooping beyond your scope of a reporter. Recording private conversations is a no no..... the meeting had not started yet and there was not a quaorum in the room. Hope somebody sues you... Your really pressing your luck.... I think some rules need to be set no recording until the meetin has actually started or no one is admitted into the room until 6:25 pm.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if Mayor Powell actually decided to listen to you and keep the public out of chambers while members of the council are inside discussing city business.
