Passed Away - Timothy Hausman

Timothy Hausman, age 31, of Glenwood, Iowa, and formerly of Ida Grove, Iowa, died Monday, December 13, 2010, at Creighton University Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ida Grove, Iowa, under the direction of Christensen-Huffman Funeral Homes. The Reverend Richard Salcido will officiate, with burial to follow in the Odebolt Cemetery in Odebolt, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be held at Christensen-Huffman Funeral Home in Ida Grove on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.

Born January 7, 1979, in Ida Grove, Iowa, Timothy Henry Hausman was the son of James and Cindy (Jochims) Hausman. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith as an infant.

Timothy lived with his parents in Ida Grove until October of 1983, then made his home at Faith, Hope, and Charity in Storm Lake, Iowa. In December, 1988, he moved to Glenwood Hospital School in Glenwood, Iowa.

Survivors include his parents, Jim and Cindy Hausman of Ida Grove; two brothers, Jerry (Tammi) Hausman of Tulsa, OK, and David (Glenda) Hausman of Odebolt; and a sister, Jodi (Tom) Nielsen of Ida Grove.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Georgia Jochims; and his paternal grandparents, Loretta Wyatt and Henry and Emma Hausman.
