Sac County Supervisors decide to keep the Sac County Courthouse a weapons free zone

… set a date for courthouse security meeting to respond to new gun carry law.

SAC CITY, IOWA – JANUARY 4, 2011

There will be sings hung on all entrance doors that say something to the effect, “the courthouse is a weapons free zone.” Right now it only says “gun”. Violators will be warned. If they fail to leave or disarm, they can be charged with criminal trespass.
