Final approval for Lake View streetscape project on hold

LAKE VIEW, IOWA – DECEMBER 6, 2010

Godbersen-Smith Construction Company Punch lists and applications for payment referred to in the video following.

1. Still struggling with some electrical problems with the outlets in the nodes.
2. The second thing pending is a two year maintenance bond.
- This will not expire until two years from December 6, 2010.
3. The council approved the sub final pay estimate on the first and second page of the above document.
- Nay vote from Laney.
4. The following resolution accepting the work needed three votes to pass. On indication from Laney that it would not receive the three votes needed, the council didn’t even bother to vote on the final payment authorizing release of the retainage in the amount of $32,000 (page 3 and 4 in the document above) and the resolution accepting the work.
