The A team won 2 out of 3 games to claim the match. The scores were 19-21, 21-12, and 15-6. Morgan Grosely and Carissa Steinkamp led the team in serving. Morgan served 10 for 10 with 8 aces and Carissa went 11 for 12 with 11 aces. Megan Wright led the team at the net by completing all 4 attacks for the kill.
The B team was also victorious winning 2 out of the 3 games with scores of 21-8, 21-14 and 19-21. Hannah Schmidt led the team serving 11 out of 12 serves with 8 aces and completing 3 attacks at the net.
The C team was not able to take the match but won 1 out of the three games with scores of 17-21, 14-21, and 21-12. Rebekkah Tice led the team serving 12 out of 12 with 6 aces.
The 8th grade volleyball team traveled to Odebolt to take on the Falcons from OA-BCIG in Jr. High Volleyball on Monday, September 12.
The A team won 4 games with scores of 21-10, 21-15, 21-7, 21-7. Lexi Wilson led the team in serving and attacks hitting 13 out of 13 serves with 6 aces and going 6 for 6 in attacks with 2 kills. Sarah Shull also served well hitting 17 out of 21 serves with 11 aces.
The B team also claimed 4 games with scores of 21-15, 21-15, 21-13, 21-15. Kennedy Pieken hit all 8 of her serves with 1 ace while Emilee Drost went 16 for 19 with 6 aces to help with the win. Taylor Bohm led the B team in attacks going 8 for 8 with 3 kills. The C team also claimed a win as they won the first 2 out of 3 games. They did drop the 4th game but had already won the match.
The C team scores were 21-14, 18-21, 21-17, 11-15. Jordyn Anderson hit 14 out of 14 serves with 4 aces to lead the C team in serving.
