On Wednesday May 4, 2011 at the Wall Lake Elementary and Friday May 6, 2011, at the Sac City Elementary School, 18 East Sac FFA members presented a workshop to the elementary. This workshop is called “Food for America.” It was presented to over 400 total students in Begindergarten through 4th grade.
Food for America is designed to teach kids about agriculture. The elementary does not have agricultural classes, so the program incorporates agricultural knowledge into a fun workshop that provides students an opportunity to learn something new.

The FFA Chapter would like to thank the elementary students and staff for providing the time and cooperation to make this program possible.
