1. Planning and Zoning Commission discuss pending lawsuits, complaints
- Discussion about Willie “no last name given’s” property.
-- He had started last month and expected to be complete by next month.
- Wenschel property. (Referred to as “Old matt’s Shoes”)
-- City does not want to own this property, which is what is standing in the way of bringing this property down.
-- A meeting has been scheduled
- 516 Platt Street. (Referred to as “The Old Bowman House”)
-- P&Z officer cannot get anyone to accept letters of notice.
-- May have been red tagged a year ago.
-- City Administrator to talk to City Attorney to see if it qualifies as a special circumstance.
-- P&Z Officer isn’t sure if it qualifies as dangerous.
- Building north of VFW.
-- Needs to be hauled away.
-- It does not have much value because it is in a flood plain.
- House up by Terry
-- The hole in the roof has been covered.
- Sunwise.
-- Local businesses intend to paint it or build a false front.
--- They intend to contact Ken Pap, the owner of the building.
---- Pap filed a petition of destitution on the order to clean the property up and it was granted.
---- The EPA is monitoring his financial status.
-- It is estimated to cost $250,000 to bring that down.
2. Building permits.
- There are several things getting ready to happen.
- Frohardt questions need for permit for pedestals for satellite dishes.

Why is there never a complaint about the hole in the roof of the garage at the property on 8th. and main street. Who owns that property? You could almost drive a Volks Wagon thru it! It is also leaning and not a safe building.
