Sac County Projects Update – November 30, 2010

SAC CITY, IOWA – NOVEMBER 30, 2010


1. Dixon awarded contract.



2. This is the order in which land will be dispersed after the DOT is done using it to build the bypass.
3. Board would like to see steps two and three turned around.



4. The twin metal culvert will cost in the neighborhood of $100K to install.
- Hecht concerned about the culverts getting washed out.
-- Engineer reports no trouble with other examples of metal culverts.
5. County to reexamine Farm to Market road system.
6. Chit Chat about what the highway 20 crews will do in the winter.
7. Engineer not attending next week’s meeting.
