Lake View City Council decides to be involved in budget process

“We’re going to be voting on a lot of money…”

LAKE VIEW, IOWA – NOVEMBER 1, 2010

1. How much direct involvement would the city council like to have?
- A lot of the process involves just slotting the numbers in and doesn’t take a lot of input from the council.
- The council would like to be hands on due to the number of unusual situations including incoming FEMA money and questions about what effect the library and fire department budgets may have.
- “We’re going to be voting on a lot of money…”
