Auburn City Council reviews community improvement plan

AUBURN, IOWA – NOVEMBER 8, 2010

- Baby swings down at the park replacement added.
-- Have been replaced in the last seven years.
- Getting serious about renovating city building added.
--Painting.
-- Nothing has been done since the 80’s.
-- Clerk directed to put together a cost study for December or January.
--- $8,000 this year, $5,000 set aside last year.
-- Windows.
- Bike rack.
-- Clerk directed to move the one from the gazebo.
--- It’s not a bus stop anymore.
-- Can it be painted black first?
-- Where would we put it?
--- No reason they couldn’t dodge around it.
--- If you put it too far away, they won’t use it anyway.
--- Some nights there are so many bikes, you can’t walk through there.
