LAKE VIEW, IOWA – JULY 19,2010
1. Sac City Track
- Top surface has been removed from the Sac track and the school is checking on price of replacing it.
- Board decides to look at replacing high jump surface with same material as track.
- Board decides to look into replacing long jump running surface with same material as track.
2. Sac City is considering attaching an at risk component to a part time (less than 1 FTE) job at the Sac School to make it a full time position and therefore more attractive to a quality teacher.
3. Dr. Fiene asks the board to fill out their legislative priorities.
- This is a worksheet.
4. Dr. Fiene asked the board for a personal meeting with individual school board members from both the WLVA and Sac boards in order to establish a “deeper relationship” with each member.
5. What is the plan going forward with bullying?
- According to Dr. Fiene it’s not off the radar, but Kevin is not ready to discuss it.
