Wall Lake City Council performs second, second reading of refuse collection rate ordinance
WALL LAKE, IOWA – MAY 10, 2010
1. The first second reading took place on April 26, but the council did not vote for and pass the second reading at that time.
2. The second reading was adopted with council person John Morrow voting no, seemingly objecting to the wording wherein residents who do not utilize city refuse collection service will be billed at the same rate as those that do. Mayor Druivenga too seemed concerned and expressed the wish that the clerk confirm that billing non customers is not a violation of law.
