VIDEO – Wall Lake City Council unable to find someone to jet old well
WALL LAKE, IOWA – MAY 10, 2010
According to information put out at the City Council meeting, Well #3 was not designed to be jetted. (jetting is a quick way to sink small bore wells quickly and cheaply.)
The council has decided to design the next well to be jetted. For now it looks like they will be forced to acidize the existing well and take bids for sinking a new well. (Acidizing is a method for increasing the effective area of a well by forcing acid in under pressure to eat away at the surrounding rock.)
