Anastasia Dembowski, age 30, of Wall Lake, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011 at her residence.
Anastasia Jean Dembowski was born July 12, 1980, in Columbus, Nebraska, the daughter of Lawrence and Lennea (Crawford) Dembowski. As a child, she moved to Grand Island, Nebraska where she attended school. She was baptized in July of 1985 and was confirmed in April of 1992. Anastasia remained living in Grand Island until 2006, when she and her son Virgil relocated to Wall Lake to be closer to her aunt and unlce, Tom and Pat Haley. While living in Wall Lake, Anastasia was employed at Pella Corporation in Carroll.
She enjoyed watching movies, swimming, and being there for her friends. Her greatest joy in life was her son, Virgil, she cherished the time spent with him. Anastasia will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son: Virgil Dembowski of Wall Lake, IA; father: Lawrence Dembowski of Omaha, NE; brother: David Dembowski of Grand Island, NE; grandmother: Mary (Dembowski) Mostek of Grand Island, NE; aunt: Pat (Tom) Haley of Wall Lake, IA; and many extended family members and friends.
Anastasia was preceded in death by her mother Lennea (Crawford) Dembowski. A Memorial Fund has been established to benefit Anastasia’s son Virgil. Memorials may be directed to: Bank Midwest c/o Virgil Dembowski 102 W. 2nd St. Wall Lake, IA 51466
