City of Sac City Departments that could be hit by Iowa commercial tax rollback

SAC CITY, IOWA - JUNE 20, 2011

According to Sac City, Iowa Administrator Adam Ledford, the approxomately $15,000 in lost revenue due to the commercial property tax rollback may come out of the budgets from any of the following departments:

Library
Parks
Sac Aquatic Center
Police Department
Streets

Departments that will probably not be affected are:

Fire Department
Cemetery

Ultimately it will be up to the finance committee of the Sac City Council to decide how this possible rollback will be dealt with.
