Security Cameras being installed at ESC High School
SAC CITY, IOWA – FEBRUARY 17, 2011
During the February East Sac County School board meeting, Superintendent Kevin Fiene indicated to the school board that security cameras are being installed a the high school in Lake View, Iowa not as a reaction [to incidents like the recent feces smearing incident – ED.] but as a proactive measure in order to provide as safe and secure an environment as possible. According to ESC business manager John Kraft, the cameras will be in place in about thirty days. If the school finds success using cameras in the high school, they may expand the program and install cameras in the middle school.
