Minutes of the November 30, 2010 Sac County Supervisors meeting

The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Dean Stock, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Bensley to amend the agenda to have a discussion with Greg Villages about DD 2 & 51. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Hecht to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes all, motion carried.

Frank Hermson from New Hope Village presented an update and review of that agency’s activities of the past year. There are 13 Sac County residents currently receiving services from New Hope Village.

Lisa Bethune, Sac County CPC, discussed copier replacement and personnel issues with the Board. No action was taken.

Greg Villages with Kuehl and Payer informed the Board of progress made on an investigation on DD 2 & 51, Sac and Calhoun counties. An informal hearing will be scheduled for January 25, 2011, at 1:30 pm to discuss the issues with landowners in the district.

The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Hecht to award a contract to Dixon Construction for a bridge replacement on County Road M-35, between Sections 31 & 32, Cook Twp, for $397,490.85. Ayes all, motion carried.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
