Viewer wonders why Sac City Gas Department Employee driving huge truck around for petty errands, cost

I was talking with my dad tonight and he mentioned something about the guy that drives around and checks meters and whatever else he does Jason Lowe i think im not entirely sure but whoever it is drives around that 3/4 ton truck to do all that stuff...i was just wondering if you could do some digging for me and find out why they need to drive a truck that big around all day long, what kind of mileage a truck like that gets in town, and also if its useful for anything else like hauling stuff maybe or anything in general, and how much it costs to maintain...etc..
