SAC CITY IOWA – JUNE 28, 2010
The Sac City Council approved annual cigarette permits for the following businesses:
Casey’s General Store
Sac Liquor Store
VFW Post 590
The Place on State
Wally’s Food Pride DBA Sac City Food Pride
Wessel’s Oil INC
Crossroads of Sac City
According to Sac City Chief of Police John Thomsen, all of the stores are checked yearly and there have been no violations from any of the locations listed in “several years.”
The council approved the permits unanimously.
The following liquor licenses were approved unanimously as well. The fairgrounds asked for permission to serve alcohol multiple locations within the fenced area. According to City Administrator Adam Ledford, the State of Iowa does allow for this with council approval.
