The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in special session to canvass the regular school election held September 13, 2011. Supervisors Hecht and Stock were present and Bensley absent.
The Board took up the canvass and offer the following results:
East Sac County Community School District; C. Gene Riley – 149, Chris Rodman – 594*, Stephanie Mohr (write-in) – 167; On the question of imposing an instructional support levy, Yes – 656*, No – 277; For Director District 4, ICCC, Connie L. Smith – 693*.
Odebolt – Arthur Community School District; Traci Bengford – 523*, Pat Hoefling – 448*, Paul Neumann – 353*, write-ins – 157; To fill an unexpired term; Brad Lundell – 375*, write-ins – 35; On the question of reorganizing and forming a new school district with Battle Creek - Ida Grove, Yes – 256, No – 384*; For Director District 4, ICCC, Connie L. Smith – 306*.
Schaller – Crestland Community School; For Director District One; Clarence Hansen – 104*, write-ins – 9; For Director District Two; Mike Schmidt (write-in) – 56*, other write-ins – 14, For Director at Large; Scott Currie – 98*, write-ins – 11; For Director District 4, ICCC, Connie L. Smith – 87*.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
