Denco Highway Construction Co. has a $58,726 contract to patch the deck on three bridges in Sac County. They started April 28th on the bridge over the Boyer River on D37. They will move to the Raccoon River Bridge on D42 near the airport on Monday, May 2nd and then to the Raccoon River Bridge on D46. The Road will be restricted to one lane while they are working.
M35 remains closed 5 miles north of Odebolt while Dixon Construction Co. replaces the bridge between 270th and 280th streets. The project will take 3 ½ - 4 months to complete.
Vogel Traffic Services has a $39,609 contract to repaint the centerline markings on all Sac County pavements. They plan to start the middle of May and it will take approximately 2 weeks to complete the painting. If you come upon them remember that the paint takes time to dry and can pick up on your tires so stay back and minimize the time it takes you to cross the new paint.
Remember to use extra caution when you are driving in or near any of these construction areas for the safety of yourself and the construction workers.
