City of Wall Lake to get new plow for the front of the maintenance department truck

WALL LAKE, IOWA – JANUARY 10, 2011

Maintenance Department Head Rick Hoppe asked the council to allow him to put a plow on the city truck to help with snow removal. Hoppe thinks the main benefit will be for cleaning alleys.

Storm Lake Hydraulics quoted a bid for a four way plow installed for $6.500.

The council directed Hoppe to get more bids and directed him to purchase the best option under his own discretion but not to exceed $7,000.00.
