Possible new name of "old 20" revealed

If you were betting that Sac County was going to rename Highway 20 to "D20" when when it takes over after the bypass is complete you would lose that bet.

During the October 19, 2010 Sac County Supervisors meeting, Sac County Engineer, Ron Haden, revealed at the request to rename what we now know as Highway 20 has been submitted as the designation "D36". This will need to be approved by the state before it is in stone.

The county road to the south of it is D37 and the county road to the north of it is D27.
