STORM LAKE, IOWA – SEPTEMBER 9, 2010
The 7th grade team faced Storm Lake at Sac City on Thursday, September 9, 2010. All three teams were victorious and start the season undefeated.
The A team was led by Sarah Shull serving 12 out of 14 with 4 aces.
Sydney Ernst also went 10 out of 11 with 3 aces.
Ashton Blum led the team in attacks by completing 3 out of 5 with 2 kills.
They defeated Storm Lake 21-9, 21-10, and 15-4.
Kendall Herrig led the B team by serving 29 out of 32 with 11 aces.
Brooke Skirvin also served 7 out of 9 with 1 ace.
Bailey Jacobsen led the team at the net with 1 out of 2 attacks completed.
They were victorious with 21-10, 21-6, and 15-0.
Jordyn Anderson led the C team with 13 out of 17 serves completed and 12 aces. Emma Mortensen also helped seal the wins by serving 9 out of 11 with 7 aces.
Dijanna Hammond completed 3 out of 4 attacks with 3 kills.
The C team defeated Storm Lake 21-18, 21-9, and 15-9.
