Norita Kay Cole passed away peacefully at Black Hawk Life Care Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was called by the Lord early Saturday morning July 31, 2010.
Rita was born August 12, 1937, the daughter of Russel and Helena (Boelts) Neal. She was graduated from Britt High School in 1956. She married David Cole in Clear Lake, Iowa on January 25, 1958.
Dave, Rita, and their two daughters Deanna and Denise moved to Lake View where Dave retired from the United States Air Force after 17 years of service. Rita was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and also active in various church groups. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her granddaughter Kassandra and great grandson Gabriel.
She is survived by her loving husband Dave; daughters Deanna Cole, Marion IA and Denise (Dave) Woltman, Logan IA; grandchildren: Kassandra, Nick, Brian, and Emily; great grandson Gabriel; sisters: Helena Kennedy, Henderson NV, and Trudy Johnson, Austin TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Evelyn Mae, brother Calvin and sister Vera.
