Debris pile in Auburn, Iowa to become Ethanol fodder (further budget amendment discussion)
AUBURN, IOWA – MAY 10, 2010
These are not necessarily quotes.
1. two bids for debris removal received.
- (sounds like) “Crychecks” (correction pending) enterprises Inc., of Denison for $5,952.00.
- (sounds like) “Costyougrain” (correction pending) for $11,300.00.
2. Chips will be used for ethanol plant in Nebraska.
3. FEMA allowed $18K.
4. (sounds like) “Crychecks” (correction pending) enterprises Inc, gets the bid.
5. To be done within 60 days of notice of award.
6 . Stumps will not be covered by FEMA.
- There are 29 stumps that will need to be ground down.
7. Do to large amount of interest, Clerk asks council for permission to send out requests for bids.
8. Clerk reviews parameters of FEMA reimbursement.
9. Clerk reviews reimbursable costs.
- After reimbursements, there will not be a dollar of out of pocket cost.
10. Budget amendment approved.
