Richard Swanson, age 83, of Odebolt, Iowa, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church in Odebolt, Iowa, under the direction of Christensen-Huffman Funeral Homes. The Reverend Mark Volkers will officiate, with burial to follow in the Odebolt Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by Roose Post No. 313 of the American Legion. Friends may call at the Christensen-Huffman Funeral Home in Odebolt, Iowa, on Thursday from 4-8 p.m., with the family present from 5-7 p.m. Memorials in Richard's name may be directed to the Odebolt Community Center.
