1. On August 10, 2010 the sewer backed up into Williams’ basement.
2. MGM plumbing used a snake and went all the way to the street to heck for blockage, but were not able to find any.
3. The city was called.
4. When the manhole was opened, Williams saw what she thinks is a “tree trunk” in the manhole.
-Williams asked to be notified about what was found.
-- City employee on the scene advised that someone would let them know.
-- City Administrator later advised that someone would let them know.
5. City maintenance department claims no obstruction was found.

6. I’d like to hear from Bob’s side.
- The city’s main was blocked.
- The insurance company never authorizes payment for this type of issue because it doesn’t represent a failure.
7. Scheffler didn’t notice a tree trunk or branch blocking the main.
- Doesn’t seem to know what was blocking pipe.
8. Williams has had trouble before.
- Williams claims that plumbers have also visited the neighbors.
- Reiterates that MGM found nothing wrong with private line.
9. It is recommended to Williams that she call the city first in the future before hiring a plumber.
10. Blockage doesn’t seem to be due to any particular condition, but does seem to occur once per year.
