  1. Wow dogs bark all over this town. That is what dogs like to do. Guess someone has to complain all of the time though.

  2. Yes, dogs will bark. However, allowing your dog to bark at anyone and anything that walks past your house does disrupt the peace and quiet that your neighbors have every right to expect.

And I'm a dog owner. If my dog is barking for even a couple minutes, I go check out why and if needed, put him in the house so he does not disturb the neighbors. I can tell you from many of my evening walks -- with my dog -- there are a LOT of houses in this town I would not do well having as neighbors for that very reason. You can barely walk a block without getting barked at by at least one dog, so those evening walks are a never-ending symphony of barking.

It's a little thing called common courtesy. Which, we all know, isn't common anymore.

  3. I honestly don't think a dog barking is that huge of an issue that law enforcement needs to be called. There's more things in this town that needs to be bitched about, and law enforcement called upon than a dog barking. This person complaining must be a "big shot" for the law enforcement to actually do something.
