The 8th grade volleyball team took on IKM-Manning in Jr. High volleyball action on Thursday, September 16 in Sac City.
The A team advanced to 3-0 on the season by taking 2 out of 3 games 21-15, 17-21, 15-4.
Kylie Belt was perfect in serving hitting 7 for 7 with 2 aces.
Jordan Fischer and Megan Pickhinke also served well for the A team.
Jaylynn Peters led the team in attacks completing 14 for 15 with 5 kills.
The B team also claimed a 3-0 record for the season as they took all three games in hard fought action 21-17, 21-18, 15-10.
Sarah Brower hit 10 out of 10 serves with 6 aces and Callie Herrig went 8 for 8 with 4 aces to lead the B team in serving.
Natasha Bettin hit 4 out of 6 attacks with 3 kills to help the cause.
The C team dropped their third match of the season to start 0-3, but once again had some hard fought games 11-21, 18-21, 8-15.
Carrie Block hit 3 out of 4 serves to lead the C team in serving.
The Raiders next JR. High volleyball action will be on Thursday, September 23 when they take on South Central Calhoun in Sac City at 4:00.
