East Sac County Principal outlines plan for dealing with bullying in the middle School (Principal’s Report)
SAC CITY, IOWA – AUGUST 16, 2010
- Middle school enrollment down about 20 kids this year.
- 11th street will not be open by the time school starts.
- Welcome of new employees.
- Staff, (bus drivers, cook, everyone) to practice dealing with bullying systemically.
--Associates to begin conducting In School Suspension in designated room away from the school office.
-- Education regarding bullying were begun last year, will continue this year.
-- Data will be presented in September that will bring clarity to the issue.
-- Bottom line: the school is working on it and the board will be updated regularly.
-- Bullying was blown out of proportion last spring.
