SAC CITY - FEBRUARY 2, 2010
During the Meeting of the Sac County Supervisors, Supervisor Rick Hecht proposed that the board draft a letter to Buena Vista County thanking them for the assistance they provided to the Sac County Emergency Management Agency during the ice storm.
Mr. Hecht also proposed drafting a letter to the City of Storm Lake thanking them for providing a generator.
Mr. Hecht went on to suggest that even though they may turn it down, the Sac County Supervisors should offer compensation to those parties because what they did was "...very valuable, and it was a good, neighborly thing for them to do."
