Though they violate them at every single meeting,* the Sac City Council has chosen to adopt Robert's Rules of Order to conduct Sac City Council Meetings.

*the most frequent violation is the one of city council members not actually making any motions instead substituting the phrase, "So moved" allowing the wording or intent of any motion made to be changed for the sake of convenience at a later time. Also, Mayor Powell never re-states the wording of the motion, as required... probably because of the aforementioned problem with the Sac City Council not actually making any motions.
