Christmas Bird Count-December 17th Do you have a feeder and like to watch the birds? Then we need your help! The Sac County Conservation Board is looking for volunteers to watch their feeders on December 17th from 9 am-12 pm and report the number of each species they have seen. For an official list please call 712-662-4530 and we will mail you a report form. If you call in with your numbers and species and your location on the 19th that is acceptable as well. The data will be tallied and sent to Audubon as this helps scientists take a snapshot of the current population.
Winter Camp- December 28th During this free camp kids will learn about nature during the winter, go on a hike, play games and much more. To sign up please call 712-662-4530, and please dress appropriately for camp. There will be two age brackets:
PK-1st- Will run from 9am-11:30am
2nd-4th- Will run from 1:30 pm- 4 pm
