SAC CITY, IOWA - MARCH 28, 2011
According to Downtown Sac City businessman Steve Gerry, the owner of Details, the manager of a trust who owns a dilapidated building with which he shares a wall passed away in the previous two weeks.
Gerry, who spoke publically at the March 28, 2011 Sac City, Iowa City Council told the council that he was aware of a meeting Mayor Barb Powell set with the daughter of the deceased, Dee Wunschel , to be held on the day he happened to pass. Sac City Administrator Adam Ledford informed Gerry that the meeting was rescheduled, but that he was unaware of the actual date on which it was rescheduled. Mayor Powell, was not at the meeting to address the question.
