Wall Lake City Council tables consideration of law enforcement contract pending further information
WALL LAKE, IOWA – JANUARY 24, 2011
The Wall Lake City Council is considered entering into a contract with either the Sac County Sheriff or the Lake View, Iowa police Department. The council opted to table the decision until they can contact the Sac County Sheriff and get some additional questions answered.
Part of the issue is that Schaller opted to continue to hire their own police protection, so proposal #2 as detailed in the following documents from the Sac County Sheriff department is out. Also included in the document pack is the correspondence with the City of Lake View.
