New House Bill Could Halt Weapon-Free Zones
In a blatant reactionary act of paranoia that puts a bullseye on lawful gun owners in Sac County, Iowa, the Sac County Supervisors exploited a loophole in the Iowa code to make sure that only citizens who have no problem breaking the law will ever bring a firearm into the county courthouse.
According to a story found out in the 'sphere, "There's new legislation in the Iowa House that would put a stop to local governments pushing for weapon-free zones..."
As of this posting there is no plan to place armed guards at the entrances to the Sac County Courthouse to ensure that unauthorized weapons aren't entering the building(s).
