Why only a misdemeanor? Is'nt the theft of an auto a felony? He did'nt just steal one vehicle but two! Maybe thats why kids are so out of control, they get slapped on the wrist & told bad kid, baaad kid!
ReplyDeleteRead Iowa Code section 714.7 and you will find your answer. By taking one vehicle and leaving it and taking another vehicle and leaving it, by Iowa Code the perpetrator did not have the intent to permanently deprive the owner. Don't blame law enforcement. Tell your legislators, they are the one's that make the laws.
ReplyDeletemaybe parents should actually be parents and most of these issues would be taken care of!
