It's been several years since I reviewed this.
-TSN maintains an pro-anonymous commenting policy because there are is a tight nit group of about 120 - 150 people in Sac City, Iowa referred to as the "Main Street Mafia" who use intimidation tactics against businesses owners who employ people that speak out publically against any of its members with the end goal of making that person unemployable.
Many members of the Main Street Mafia have in times past have held political positions within Sac City's Government, School and ruling boards, and the intimidation tactics employed by them were the main tool that they used to curtail the freedom of speech that we, as citizens of the USA, would normally hold as a right.
TSN's Anonymous commenting policy allows people that would normally be too afraid of Sac City's Main Street Mafia to PRACTICE freedom of speech without the fear that they will have to move out of Sac City to support their family.

Wait a second! The Main Street Mafia? I wasn't aware that a group of citizens used tactics like this. How unconstitutional
